Anyone using dvd shrink? I am skipping a step, I think.?

After I get through encoding the disc, instead of spitting the disc out and asking for a blank one, it says if I take the disc out, it will lose all my info. I recently had to reinstall Nero. I don't know if this had something to do with it or not. Can anyone help me?
