Picture Messaging (MMS) not working on Verizon Blitz (UTStarcom TXT8010), get "Network Authentication Failed"?

I have had the Verizon Blitz (UTStarcom TXT8010) for more than one month, however, I have never been able to send nor receive picture messages (MMS). Text messages (SMS) works fine. I continue to get "Network Authentication Failed" messages any time I attempt to "Get" picture messages. I have worked with the Verizon technical support department, and after due diligence troubleshooting my settings, their solution was a firmware upgrade, which is not available on this site. Has anyone else experienced this or have a resolution?
