What does she mean by this??

I asked this girl that i had heard rumors about liking me last year if she really did but she said she didn't becasue she hadn't had the chance to talk to me enough. She also said she didn't like anyone becasue her bf cheated on her and she said it made her want to be away from guys. After her bf cheated on her she began to talk to me...like she approached me one day and she asked for my number and stuff. so after she said she didn't like me i told her that i liked her and i was expecting her to say she didn't feel the same way but instead she asked why i didn't tell her sooner, and i said i was nervous and she said awww theres nothing to be nervous about and i was kind of surprised but was she saying she doesn't like me in a nice way or do i have a chance? we're both 18 btw and seniors
