Why is it that I can leave a mess at my house and be fine about it..but not at a family style restaurant?

we went to a Logan's Steakhouse..and you can throw your peanut hulls on the floor there..it's expected. I'm *not* a neat freak at home,but i couldn't bring myself to throw peanut hulls on the floor..i kept mine in a neat little pile. why can i be a slob at home,but at a restaurant,i'm a neat freak?
